UK Disposable vape ban - What's the alternative?

With the recent confirmation that disposable vapes will be banned in the UK starting June 1st 2025, I wanted to open up a discussion and see what everyone’s plans are moving forward.

Whether you’re using them to quit smoking, manage cravings, or just enjoy the convenience, disposables have become super popular over the last few years – so this ban is definitely going to shake things up.

Are you planning to switch to refillable vape kits, pod systems, or maybe even quitting entirely? Any recommendations on good alternatives that feel close to the disposable experience in terms of flavour and ease of use?

I’ve been using Lost Mary when i go out for a while and now I’m not sure what to try next as carrying my mod around the pub and when going shopping is cumbersome in the pocket. Would love to hear what others are thinking – especially if you’ve already made the switch to something more sustainable.

Please share some ideas, tips. Thanks in advance

IVG Air - 4 in 1 rechargeable, and the ‘disposable’ pods are super easy to refill, just pop the end off and squirt some juice in, I’ve topped mine up 4 times and the coil is still o.k.
My normal mod is a geekvape touch paired with a Zeus x rebuildable, but sometimes just want something I can vape in secret :wink:

Never could stand disposables but I understood why there was a market for them. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been in situations wear I’ve needed to pop into a shop and grab one because either my battery has unexpectedly died or even worse I’ve dropped my billet box and it stopped working :cry:. But what I don’t agree with is newsagents and unlicensed properties selling illegal disposables and especially children getting there hands on them. They were never designed for children/teens to pick up and just start vaping because they like the flavours. They were put out in the market for smokers to quit the stinkies. I’ve been a non smoker now for 9 or so years and if it wasn’t for the likes of vaping I may never have stopped. Yes vaping can cost me the same amount as smoking did or even more but that’s because I’ve got a illness. I’m attracted to the shiny items :joy:. So I will stick to the rebuilding side of things and keep on vaping :laughing:. As for pod systems I only have 2 and they are a argus 3 and I quite enjoyed that but I do feel like I’m cheating myself using stock coils. And I also have a oxva velocity but I use the rba and vape that dl/RDL.
